Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has made a big statement for her own confidence and refusing to edit the photos of herself she posts online.The 29 year old reality star took part in the Winter 2020 edition of Love Island, spending most of her time partnered with 27 year old Callum Jones before being dumped after 33 days in the villa.The ITV2 reality show threw Shaughna into the spotlight and she quickly found herself with a large online following - with 1.4 million followers on her Instagram page alone.
On Tuesday, Shaughna joined other TV stars in attending the 28th National Television Awards at the O2 Arena in London - wearing a shimmering pink outfit from womenswear brand Nadine Merabi.
Following the event, she shared photographs of herself on Instagram - confessing that she no longer alters the images she shares online and admitting it is "a big deal" to her.
She captioned the post: “NTA’S 2023… Thank you so much to @fakebake_uk for having me and glamming me!” She added: “P.s I don’t edit my photos anymore and it’s kinda a big deal to me.” Fans were quick to praise Shaughna for her bold move on social media, complimenting her and congratulating her for her approach.
