Love Island's Shaughna Phillips admitted to feeling "down" after she was trolled on social media, as she issued a reminder to show fans to be kinder.

In Shaughna's latest Love Island All Stars column for OK!, the 29 year old talked about the trolling that her pal Georgia Steel has received during this year's spin-off series, which led to her family releasing a statement asking for kindness.

Shaughna, who has endured her own trolling experiences since appearing on the show in 2020, has urged people online to realise that the dramas on Love Island are "not that deep".

In her OK! column, Shaughna says: "People online get so irate about Love Island, but they need to remember that it's just a fun show and that the Islanders are real people with feelings.
