Love Island's Scott Thomas' life since first appearance - sobriety journey to successful business

Love Island All Stars is returning on January 13 and one face fans are surprised to see on the line up is Scott Thomas. The 36-year-old revealed in a new Instagram post his reasoning for returning to the villa is to "show the new version of me" as he has been on a massive spiritual journey over the past few years.The Manchester lad first appeared on the show back in 2016, coming third place with Kady McDermott.

The pair were known for Kady's fiery personality, which often resulted in many explosive arguments between them. After leaving the villa the couple moved in together, appearing on red carpets and attending frequent date nights.

However a year after leaving the show, the couple broke up, allegedly due to Scott's party boy habits. Now, Scott has been on a sobriety journey since 2020, first attempting to go 12 months sober and then later completely cutting off alcohol.

Speaking to the Boots podcast Taboo Talks, Scott revealed the moment he decided to go sober: "I'd been out the night before to take the wind out of my sails and wasn't all pent up.
