Love Island's Sammy blasts Mitch as 'sly' as row erupts over Jess

Love Island star Sammy Root confronts his fellow islander Mitchel Taylor, 26, after realising the Doncaster contestant has already pulled Jess Harding, 22, for a chat in the villa during tonight's instalment (Friday 16 June).The 22 year old London bombshell has been getting to know blonde beauty Jess for days now, and the pair always have lots of laughs.

While both have said there's chemistry between them, Jess and Sammy aren't closed off to getting to know other people. But while Sammy has been flirting up a storm with newcomer Leah Taylor, 27, and Jess was taken on a date with footballer Scott Van Der Sluis, 22, it's Mitch's actions that create some serious drama in the latest episode, which will also see two people "dumped from the island".

After being unceremoniously shut down by first coupling Molly Marsh, 21, Mitch sets his sights elsewhere, realising that he "fancies" Jess after her performance in the latest football-based challenge.

Mitch confesses to Medhi Edno, 26, Tyrique Hyde, 24, and Sammy that he pulled Jess for a chat, but the latter is unimpressed. “I’ll be real yeah, I thought it was a bit sly," the star declares. "Mentioning it in front of all the boys instead of just pulling me and just saying, ‘Sammy, I’m feeling Jess.’ As Mitch is taken-aback by Sammy's annoyance over the situation, the London star adds: “I haven’t got a problem with you chatting with her, I just thought it was just a little bit sly.” Fans will have to wait and see how Mitch reacts to being called out on his behaviour, but there is likely to be even more drama in the villa.
