Love Island's Ron and Lana shrug off split rumours as they cosy up for date night

Love Island runner ups Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall have been plagued by split rumours since leaving the villa just a few days ago, but they haven't let this put an end to their blossoming romance.

The couple, who landed back in the UK with their fellow finalists just days ago, have been enjoying some alone time as they cosied up for a movie night at home.

Posting to his Instagram Story, Ron, 25, shared a snap of himself and Lana, also 25, cuddled up in bed while watching a movie.

He wrote: "We've waited so long for this, movie and cuddles [popcorn emoji] @lanajenkinss" It comes after the pair begun to be hit with rumours of a split after a source told The Sun that they became embroiled in a rather heated row while on the flight home from South Africa.The onlooker told the outlet: "Lana and Ron had a furious argument on the plane home - production crew had to step in and calm it down. "They were so fuming they refused to film the 'meeting the family' part of the reunion show at Heathrow until producers stepped in again. "They were due to stay overnight in London together but after the fight they went back to their family homes separately to cool down." However a source close to the couple told The Mirror that it was "always" the couple's plan to "spend the night with their respective families" after landing back home.
