Love Island contestant and Covid nurse Priya Gopaldas has revealed that she has donated her £750 (€874) earnings from the show to the NHS.
The 23-year-old, stated: ‘Love Island pay cheque put to use,’ as she revealed to her Instagram followers what she’d done with the money she made from her time on the reality show.
The medical student shared a screenshot as proof of the donation, as she told her followers that the cheque she got from the show was given entirely to charity.
According to The Sun, Love Islanders receive around £250 (€291) for every week they are on screens. Although many may assume the Love Islanders are making a lot more than this for their time on-air, this is not the case.
