Love Island's Paige Turley thanks fans for support to fundraiser in memory of pal from hometown

Former Love Island star Paige Turley has thanked her loyal fleet of fans on social media for all their kind donations so far in memory of her late pal from her hometown in West Lothian.

The winner of the ITV winter series in 2020, with partner Finn Tapp, previously opened up on "upstanding guy" Jamie Aitchison as she revealed she would be running London's half marathon in his memory next month.

Paige, 25, set up a JustGiving page to raise vital funds for Mental Health UK after her friend Jamie passed away in December last year at the age if 20 when he lost the battle "against this scourge of mental health."She has so far raised £1,345 of her £4,000 target despite only launching the fundraiser less than a week ago.

Paige said on Instagram: "Another session in the bag... one step closer to the half marathon. "Thank you so much for the support so far, it's really appreciated.
