Love Island star Martin Akinola, who was dumped from the island in a brutal recoupling, has hit out at his female co-stars as he accuses them of having double standards.
Reflecting on his time in the villa Martin branded a number of the islanders as hypocrites after they remained supportive of Tanya Manhega, despite the fact that she humiliated Martin on national TV.This year's Love Island has departed from the norm somewhat, with some viewers accusing the islanders of "toxic femininity" as the women have united around Tanya rather than calling her out.
Other fans have pointed out that many of those supportive of Tanya have criticised the men for acting in a similar way to her.
Speaking about these double standards Martin, 27, told The Daily Mail: "There's a lot of double standards right now… 120 per cent.
