Love Island's Lucinda Strafford matched with Chuggs Wallis on a dating app before show

Love Island’s new recruit Lucinda Strafford has admitted she and Chuggs Wallis, who recently got booted out of the villa, matched on a dating app before the show.

After coming in and meeting the boys with fellow newbie Millie Court, Lucinda, 21, told them she’d matched with bucket hat business owner Chuggs.

Lucinda explained: “You know what, I actually matched Chuggs on a dating app. I remember talking to him about bucket hats. “Then this guy comes in and says ‘hi my name is Chuggs, I own a bucket hat company,’ and I thought I’d literally had this conversation with him.” When asked if she bought one of Chuggs’ bucket hats, Lucinda said a firm no which caused the boys to break into laughter.
