Gemma Owen had the shock of her life when her ex Jacques O’Neill entered the Love Island villa on Sunday 12 June. The surprise addition to the show was teased in the episode prior as viewers watched a new hunk enter the villa with the girls all reacting and Gemma, 19, shouting: "Oh my god, that's my ex boyfriend." The new arrival looks set to rattle one islander in particular, Luca Bish - who has recently become increasingly close to the daughter of Michael Owen.

But it appears as though Luca, 22, will soon make his intentions regarding Gemma clear to Jacques, 23. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter.

To which Luca confidently fires back: "Just saying how I am about to kiss your ex!" It's unknown how the rugby player will react to Luca's quip or in fact how Gemma will react now she has a decision to make after looking so settled with the Brighton fishmonger.

In Sunday's episode, Gemma admitted to still having feelings for her ex as she told the girls: "I don’t know. It’s weird because I still look at him and I do fancy him like 100%, I look at him and I think you are fit, no question, you are fit." Paige Thorne cheekily responded, saying: "Yeah, I think we all look at him and think he’s fit, yeah." During a date with Afia Tonkmor, Jacques admits that his relationship with Gemma didn't end amicably but later states that he is "faithful" when in a relationship.
