Former Love Island star Liberty Poole has criticised a "group of lads" and a number of women after she was left in tears on Friday night (14 October).
The reality star, 23, flew from Birmingham Airport with her "best friend of 10 years" but before the pair even had a chance to get on their flight, Liberty was "verbally abused" by lads who labelled her a "catfish".
After checking into her hotel she opened up about the horrible experience on her Instagram story where she told fans about the ordeal and how she was now making a stand against unrealistic beauty expectations.
Beginning the video, she said: "I just wanted to come on and speak about my experience that happened tonight. "I went to the airport and I literally went with no lashes, no foundation, I was really stripped back and I was just me. "I was verbally abused by a group of lads in public, shouting at me, 'You've gone down hill since Love Island, oh my God you're such a catfish'. "They were going onto the plane and telling members of staff, 'Have you seen Liberty?' just because I went to the airport stripped back. "I feel like it's so important to let people to know that, social media, yeah you're going to post your best pictures but you're not always going to be glam, you're not always going to be on top form, you do have your down days." Coming closer to the camera, Liberty pointed out a spot on her chin that she'd chosen not to cover up.
