Love Island's Jacques takes swipe at Paige and Adam romance after reunion show
ok.co.ukLove Island's Jacques O'Neill has taken a swipe at his former love interest Paige Thorne and her new flame Adam Collard, after Sunday night's reunion show was slammed for its "lack of questioning".
The 23 year old rugby player - who sensationally quit the show - appeared on an Instagram Live with Love Island finalists Luca Bish, 23, and Dami Hope, 26, where he made his thoughts known.
One fan on the Instagram Live asked Jacques what he thought about the romance between his ex, Paige, 24, and Adam, 26. Jacques took a swipe at them as he answered: "Well, her mum seems to love him doesn't she?
He's in there with the fam!" His sarcastic comment was in reference to the 'Meet the Parents' episode of this year's series, as Paige was visited by her parents, and, upon asking them what they thought of Adam, her mum savagely told her: "I'm not buying it." As a shocked, but not altogether surprised, Paige asked her what she meant, her mum compared her relationship with Adam to her one with Jacques.
