Jacques O'Neill has said that he feared claims of ADHD raised by his family "looked like an excuse for his behaviour".The Love Island star said he was left feeling "so angry" after learning his mum had revealed his ADHD diagnosis while he was inside the villa.
The rugby player, 23, appeared on Thursday’s (4 August) Good Morning Britain where he discussed his decision to quit the ITV2 series back in July, after his explosive behaviour when former Islander Adam Collard arrived and made a beeline for Paige Thorne.
As he recalled his departure, Jacques said he felt that revealing his ADHD looked like "an excuse for his behaviour" but has since understood why his mum spoke out.
Speaking to GMB’s Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, Jacques said: "When I got out, I was so ready to delete that but I was so angry with my mum.
