Former Love Island star Jack Keating has opened up about becoming a dad in a new interview. Speaking to Goss.ie, the 24 year old said that he is “so happy” and that he has always wanted to be a parent, but added that it was a 'big shock.' "It wasn’t part of the plan.
It was a big shock, but the past few months have been amazing," he said. He says that having now five month old Maya, who he shares with artist Keely Iqbal, has meant his priorities have changed and that he is “not the important person anymore.” And despite his family being well-known, what with his dad being Boyzone member Ronan Keating, he prefers to keep his life on the down low.
Jack revealed that he plans to have his daughter over the weekends once her mum - who he is no longer with - has finished breastfeeding.
Discussing co-parenting, he was positive about his relationship with Keely, and said: “She lives up in Birmingham at the moment, and I’m in London.
