The island bombshell, who was 18 at the time, had been returning home after celebrating the end of her A-Level exams. But her night took a drastic turn when she attempted to climb a fence and slipped.
She told Johnny Seifert's Secure The Insecure podcast that the fence "completely ripped her leg off" after it had been impaled on a spear - just 3mm away from a major artery.
Paramedics later told Ellie she had been just 30 seconds away from bleeding to death. "It was the scariest night of my life and a night I will never ever, ever forget.
