The Love Island star and mental health campaigner spoke out on Instagram. He wrote: "Throughout the work that I have done as ambassador it has become clear that body image is a huge pressure on young people. "Although we cannot ‘blame’ social media or body image for eating disorders, as there are a multitude of issues that can contribute, speaking to young people and experts, it can certainly play a part. ""Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of ALL mental illnesses," he added.
He continued: "I’m not arrogant or ignorant enough to think that by posting this picture I can change peoples perception of body image on my own. "Rogether however, we can change this dangerous narrative that continues to snowball around ‘how we should look’. "He continued: "For what it’s worth, I would like to say that I am grateful for the skin that I live in, I love my body, and I am proud of who I am.
