Love Island’s Chris Taylor on why Maura Higgins romance taught him ‘sad reality

Chris Taylor has opened up about his ill-fated romance with fellow Love Island star Maura Higgins ahead of his return to the villa for the upcoming Love Island: All Stars series.

Chris and Maura struck up a firm friendship while in the villa back in 2019, but it wasn't until after their stint on Love Island that sparks began to fly, following Maura's split from Curtis Pritchard.

Maura and Chris confirmed their romance in November 2020, however they later split after six months togther. Now Chris is set to return to the villa for the All Stars special, while Maura is said to be loved-up wit Hollywood stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton.

Ahead of the show's launch, Chris opened up to OK! and other press about his relationship with Maura, and their subsequent split.
