Love Island's Camilla Thurlow slams huge pressure on mums: 'We want to do the right thing’

There's no doubt about it, former Love Island star Camilla Thurlow is living her best life with husband Jamie Jewitt and their two daughters, Nell and Nora.

But the 34 year old is also the first to admit that when it comes to raising two little ones under the age of three, things can be a little overwhelming.The important thing though, Camilla explains in an exclusive interview with OK!, is trying not to put pressure on yourself if something goes wrong. "Whether you're in the spotlight or not, there is so much pressure on making sure you do the right thing as a mum," Camilla said. "You just want to know your baby is happy, and that they’re soothed and comforted." "Once you figure out what's right for your family, in terms of a routine, it's important to focus on that.

Not all babies are the same and not all families are the same - it's about finding the right thing for you." But the star also credits Jamie, her husband of two years and who she met on Love Island, for being a great hands-on Dad that helps out with two year old Nell and one year old Nora. "Jamie and I are a team," she said. "It’s good to be a team, especially if it's going to be the two of them versus the two of us [laughs].

And, having that support system, is what helped Camilla make the transition from one to two babies, especially during a difficult period in lockdown.
