Love Island's Alex Bowen says he 'can't believe' he's set to become a dad again after tragic miscarriage

Love Island‘s Alex Bowen set pulses racing in 2016 when he entered the villa as a bombshell. He went on to find love with fellow Islander Olivia – and in 2018 they became the show’s first couple to get married.

Fast-forward to the present day and life hasn’t slowed down for the couple.They now have a two-year-old son, Abel, and another baby on the way.

In an exclusive chat with OK!, Alex has spoke out about his reaction to their pregnancy news, what he’s learnt about fatherhood and how, after almost 10 years together, he and Olivia keep the spark alive.

The 33-year-old admits it caught him totally off guard when he found out Olivia, 31, was expecting again. “We’d been trying for a bit, and Liv actually took the test a little early,” he recalls. “It had said ‘not pregnant’, so I thought, ‘Oh, nothing’s happening.’ Then, I was watching TV, zoned out, and suddenly she came running in, excited.
