Love Island first look sees two stars reveal they know each other in opening episode
ok.co.ukThe hotly-anticipated tenth series of ITV's Love Island kicks off tonight with a huge new twist as, for the first time ever, both boys and girls will enter the Villa.
Upping the ante further, it's later revealed Islanders Ella Thomas, 23, and Tyrique Hyde, 24, already know each other. Ruchee Gurung, 24, and Jess Harding, 22, are the first Islanders to arrive in style at the sprawling Spanish villa.
As the two girls get to know each other, they are greeted by a surprise arrival from the next Islander. Breaking from tradition, the two girls are joined by Mitchell Taylor, Ella and André Furtado as they get to know each other in one of Love Island's most flirtatious first episodes.
Host Maya Jama gathers the five Islanders in the garden as the first coupling of the series gets underway. In another new twist, ITV bosses will allow viewers to vote for which Islanders they would like to couple up during the first episode.
