It appears as though Love Island fans have been left feeling underwhelmed following the premiere of Friday night's instalment.
Being that the show takes a break from its usual jaw-dropping, eye-rolling drama on Saturday evenings, Friday's episode tends to have twists, turns and tantalising arguments around every corner - and frequently involves a cliff-hanger, leaving viewers desperate for Sunday night to come around.
But fans of the long-standing ITV2 dating show - the second 'winter' series of which kicked off in January - are complaining of being left unimpressed, accusing producers of editing the preview of the show, which is released hours before each episode, of being juicier than the show itself. "Yesterdays preview was better than that entire episode", one viewer hit out on Twitter.
Another added: "jesus that tomorrow night preview made this game seem so much more beefy than it was…." "Message to Love Island producers," another added. "you screwed up.
