We’re used to seeing the Love Island hopefuls in their teeny tiny swimwear as they swan about in the sun. ITV missed out over the summer as plans for the season had to be scrapped due to the travel bans.
But this year we could see the singletons wrapped up warm this year, as Love Island bosses are eager to make sure filming goes ahead.
That means that they could film the upcoming season in the UK rather than the usual Majorcan villa. The minds behind Love Island are aware that things could not go as planned and filming in Spain could be off the table.
According to The Sun, bosses are looking at resorts in Cornwall and Devon. ‘As well as bringing in loads of much-needed younger viewers it’s a cash cow,’ a source told the publication.
