It was unsure for some time whether Irish presenter Eoghan McDermott would be returning to his role as the voiceover for Love Island Australia, but it was finally revealed that he was replaced by another Irish star.
Channel 9 confirmed to EVOKE that Irish comedian Stephen Mullan would be taking on the role, but it seems that Stephen might not be an instant hit with the viewers on day one.
Love Island Australia aired on Monday, 11 October, and some viewers were not overly impressed with the new Irish talent, with some even accusing the show of sneaking in another voiceover and hoping no one would notice.
At the time of the change up, Channel 9 said: ‘Stephen Mullan will be the narrator for the upcoming third season of Love Island Australia.
