Love Island: All Stars faces 'huge setback' ahead of new series

Love Island: All Stars is back for a second series after a successful first season, but it's hit a major snag. In January 2024, the popular dating show marked a decade on screens by airing their first All Stars season.The debut season, which kicked off on Monday 13 January 2024, premiered on both ITV1 and ITV2 for the first time in the show's history.The season was a hit with viewers, with the first episode reuniting bombshell exes Molly Smith and Callum Jones from season 6 of the show.

Although the two coupled up at the start, a reunion wasn't meant to be for the pair, who both moved on with new Islanders. Molly went on to win the show with Tom Clare, while Callum came in second place with Jess Gale.

Callum and Jess split shortly after, while Molly and Tom are still going strong, even buying a home together.This series is set to be just as popular as the last, however, the second series will not be airing on ITV1, and will be available for viewers to watch on ITV2 and ITVX.

The new series will also see exes come face to face, with Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville set to face each other six years after their break up.The couple reached the final during the third season of the show in 2017, reports the Mirror.They went to date for almost a year, with their relationship ultimately coming to an end when Marcel was unfaithful during a holiday to Mexico.
