Love Island viewers will be ecstatic over the first hunk reportedly set to enter the villa in just a few weeks' time. Welsh rugby player Ciaran Davies is the first contestant to be signed up for the show, according to The Sun.

A source told the publication: "Ciaran caught the eye of Love Island bosses immediately. He's gorgeous with a fit athletic build that will send the girls in the villa wild, but he's also a sweet boy next door from Wales to boot." They continued: "He's the kind of lad you could happily take home to your mum.

He's been in talks with bosses for weeks and is set to jet out to the villa in Majorca in the coming week or so." OK! has approached representatives for Love Island for comment.

Ciaran currently has a very limited Instagram profile with just 23 posts and nearly 4,000 followers – but no doubt he'll see his star rising very swiftly in the coming weeks.
