Love Island 2022 villa sneak-peek as ITV bosses scramble to complete raunchy hideaway

Love Island villa will be back on TV screens on Monday, June 6, but it won't be the one fans know and love.With a complete image overhaul, the villa will look slightly different on-screen with some new changes - but the famous fire pit will still be a main feature, along with a brand new gym with a large training area.Speaking with Daily Star and other press, executive producer Mike Spencer said he loves the villa ITV bosses ultimately decided on after looking at numerous locations.He said: "We looked at quite a few villas, but this one was by far the best.“The view is beautiful.

We want people to tune in and go, 'It's love island, but it's had a glow up.'”Mike added: “It's slightly bigger - it's a similar pool size but the space around it is bigger - the dressing room is a bit bigger, the bedrooms are bigger.”Other upgrades include a new seating area for the males, a sofa and additional storage.One major upgrade is surrounding the Hideaway - but it’s not quite finished yet, and with mere days to go, the pressure is mounting, though Mike is adamant it’ll wrap up nicely.With the villa preparations taking around two months to fulfil, he believes the Hideaway will be ready to go within 48 hours.The gym has been conveniently placed right next to the Hideaway, with bosses previously sharing their hopes that the new extended area might turn up the heat.Luxury is the main attraction from the minute islanders will pull up on site, with stunning views over greenery surrounding the villa which is hidden high in the hills.Making sure they truly are the OGs of love this year, bosses are putting it at the forefront of islanders' minds from the get-go, with a giant heart walk-through placed right outside the villa doors.From the.
