Love really is blind! Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin knew they would each say “I do” before the Love Is Blind season 4 finale.“I think a couple days before though, I knew that I had to make up my mind because I felt like if I was on the fence on that day, I would’ve made a decision and then regretted it later,” Kwame exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2023. “So, I just wanted to make sure I was solid in my decision.
So we went ahead and actually got a lease to an apartment in Seattle a couple days before — we signed the day before the wedding.
So we kind of just put ourselves in a position to know, like, ‘Hey, at least we’re willing to take this next step and see how it goes from here.’”The Ghana native, who was previously based in Portland, met Chelsea during the Seattle iteration of the Netflix pod experiment.
