Louise Thompson, sister of I’m A Celeb King Sam Thompson, was left in tears after leaving hospital recently. The 34 year old recently revealed she’d had a stoma bag fitted in April, after health issues following the birth of her son, Leo.
She shares son Leo Hunter, with partner Ryan Libbey, who they welcomed into the world in November 2021. However, it wasn’t an easy journey for the first-time mum, who was left recovering in hospital after a month with serious complications.
Louise’s new book, Lucky: Learning to Live Again, details her harrowing experiences and one nurse’s comments on the publication had her ‘welling up’.Taking to her Instagram account, Louise posted a story, which read: "I slightly nervously went to the hospital earlier to meet with my amazing gastro team and there one of the nurses said congratulations on the book.
She said she thought it was great. - and I welled up. "Gosh, where would we be without our stunning NHS nurses. Lx,” she concluded the emotional post.The former reality TV star has been in and out of hospital since giving birth to her son and has been completely transparent about her struggles via social media.
