Louise Thompson has detailed how she wanted doctors to "put her to sleep" as she struggled to deal with post traumatic stress disorder after welcoming her son Leo with fiancé Ryan Libbey. The 31 year old, who recently confessed she felt "ashamed" for not breastfeeding her baby boy, took to her Instagram feed to open up on her mental health with her 1.4 million followers, explaining that medication has "saved my life".
Posting several photos of herself dressed in a blue floral dress, Louise could be seen holding up some medication in her hands as she wrote: "Severe anxiety and depression are not things you can just fix using 'mindfulness' or cbt...

She explained that it's a stark contrast to how she once "didn't understand how people couldn't just be 'over' something after it had happened".
