Louise Redknapp says "it's all good" with her new boyfriend, businessman Drew Michael. The former Eternal band member, 48, is now six years separated from ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, whom she shares two children with in teenagers Charley and Beau.
Speaking to The Mirror after being spotted out and about in London with Drew, a 39 year old strategic war equipment supplier, Louise remained coy when asked how the relationship was going. "It’s so difficult with your personal life...
it’s all good," she replied. "Yeah, I’ve got nothing else to say on it, everything about it has already been written." Since divorcing retired footballer Jamie, 50, who played for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur during his career, Louise made sure to stay single for the good of their children, even though her ex went on to tie the knot with model Frida Andersson. "I’ve felt this as a mum and, to say this in the most sort of respectful way, my boys' lives changed dramatically and then it changed again when obviously Jamie got married and had a family," she reflected. "Their life changed and I felt like I needed to be their one staple." This comes just a couple of months after the star, who reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing with professional Kevin Clifton in 2016, told The Sun that she wasn't "actively" seeking a fresh romance. "I'm just open to what may happen, I'm not actively out there looking, it's not my number-one goal in life," explained Louise.
