A full two decades after a group of starry-eyed singers were plucked from obscurity by a music-loving Mayo pop mogul, the band now known globally as Westlife have once again sold out stadium gigs in minutes.
In for their next chapter, the four-man juggernaut are preparing to embark on a world Wild Dreams Tour in the New Year. Westlife have been writing and rewriting the story of their life since they first arrived on the scene as fresh-faced youngsters back in 1998.
But never in all of their wildest dreams, nor indeed those of their manager Louis Walsh, did they think that 23 years later they would still be taking the world by storm and by song.
