Ahead of the 10th anniversary of Gerry Ryan’s death, his eldest daughter, Lottie has been reflecting on his life. The radio presenter has previously opened up about being bullied because of her famous father and now she has confessed that she found it difficult growing up in the limelight.
She admitted that she wanted to protect her younger siblings as they grew up in the public eye. ‘I don’t think I resented it [the fame] but I did struggle with it.
All you want to do is fit in and be the same as everyone else when you are a teenager,’ she told RSVP Magazine. She admitted that she found it hard to grow up with details of her personal life known throughout the country because Gerry would speak about his family during his radio show.
