It’s looking like movie theaters will be given the opportunity to finally reopen here in Los Angeles County as early as next week.Today, Governor Gavin Newsom’s qualified LA County for the red tier under his Blueprint for a Safer Economy.
Tom Tapp reports that if Los Angeles can maintain its numbers for just more week, several businesses will be able to reopen including cinemas at a 25% capacity or 100 people whichever is less.The news comes in the wake of New York City finally reopening movie theaters after 50 1/2 weeks of shutdown during COVID, the marketplace grossing $1M over March 5-7.
