Lorry erupts into flames in huge motorway crash as police confirm victims

dailyrecord.co.ukPolice have sadly announced that several people have lost their lives following a multiple-vehicle collision on July 15. Pictures taken at the scene of the incident reveal the horrifying aftermath of the crash after a truck appeared to have jack-knifed and erupted into flames on the A1 stretch of road.
The motorway has been closed off in both directions between Bradbury and Carrville and is expected to remain shut for several hours to come, with the collision occurring just outside Durham.According to The Mirror, Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene to assist County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service crews to extinguish and diminish the flames.
