Lorraine Kelly surprises 'incredible' fundraiser, 12, who lost her leg to bone cancer

mirror.co.ukCancer survivor Katie Pake had the surprise of her life when she went to London for an interview about her charity work. Daytime TV host Lorraine Kelly sprang out of a car outside a hotel to honour the amazing 12-year-old fundraiser with a Pride of Scotland award. “You didn’t expect to see me did you,” giggled Lorraine to shy Katie, who has been named STV’S Child of Courage.
Katie, of Fife, had a leg amputated two days before her 10th birthday because she had bone cancer, osteosarcoma. Since then she has been on a mission to raise money and awareness about childhood cancer.
