Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Loose Women star shuts down BBC Strictly Come Dancing stint rumours after shake-up

Loose Women Janet Street-Porter has addressed recent rumours that she is one of the famous faces taking to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor.

The BBC hit dance competition is set to return to our TV screens this autumn and the official line-up remains unknown however that hasn’t stopped many guessing which stars may appear on the show.

Among the rumoured stars is Loose Women panellist Janet, 77. However during Tuesday’s episode of the ITV hit daytime show Janette spoke out for the first time and revealed if viewers will see her in the ballroom.

Introducing the show, Sunetra Sarker said: “Hello and welcome to your Tuesday’s Loose women. We are keeping it short and sweet today because of the races so it’s only a 30 minute show.” Strictly Come Dancing’s iconic theme tune started to play as he continued: “But we are starting with some really exciting news.
