Gloria Hunniford has revealed the terrifying moment her husband was rushed to hospital and left partially blind after suffering a stroke.

The ITV Loose Women star and her second husband, Stephen Wray, 78, enjoyed a romantic day out at the Chelsea Flower Show just four weeks after his stroke.

Speaking to The Mirror, the couple opened up about the terrifying ordeal that left him partially blind in his right eye. "I woke up in the morning and there was blood in the eye and that was it.

I can see a little but not that good," he told the publication. "It is from the heart to the eye, and then from the eye to the brain, so it is damaged."He added: "It is the first time I have had something like this with the eye.
