Loose Women's Kaye Adams has revealed her struggle with "empty nest syndrome", admitting it left her in tears and feeling like it marked the "end of family life".
Kaye, 61, is mum to two daughters, Bonnie, 18, and Charley, 22, whom she shares with her long-term partner, tennis coach Ian Campbell.The TV star confessed that she was reduced to tears when she saw her daughter packing her bags for university. "She phoned me - I was coming home from the airport - and she was saying, 'Oh Mum, I can't do my packing'.
I was thinking 'for God's sake Bonnie, you've had six weeks to do this, you should be all organised'. I walked upstairs and there she was sitting surrounded by these clothes and suitcases.
