Loose Women's Coleen Nolan posts first message as she's supported after sister Linda's tragic death

Coleen Nolan has shared her heartbreak following the death of her sister, Linda. It was confirmed that the singer had died aged 65 on Wednesday (July 15) "surrounded by her devoted family" following a long journey with cancer.

The Irish star was part of the family group The Nolans, which also included her sisters Coleen, Maureen, Bernie, Denise and Anne.

They were by her side as "she passed peacefully" days after being admitted to hospital with double pneumonia. Her agent Dermot McNamara said in a statement: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nolan, the celebrated Irish pop legend, television personality, Guinness World Record-holding West End star, Sunday Times bestselling author and Daily Mirror columnist. Beyond her incredible career, Linda dedicated her life to helping others, helping raise over £20m for numerous charities, including Breast Cancer Now, Irish Cancer Society and Samaritans, amongst countless others.
