Loose Women's Charlene White has opened up about the "whirl of doubts" that accompanied her latest career venture.The presenter, who first appeared on Loose Women as a guest in 2020 and became a regular face following Andrea McLean's exit, has recently taken a bold step away from the show.At 44, Charlene, whose broadcasting career began at the BBC when she was just 24, has ventured into new territory by writing her memoir.In her book, 'No Place Like Home', she shares the challenges she faced while writing, including moments of self-doubt about completing the project.

An excerpt of her book, featured in the Guardian, reveals her initial elation: "When I was given the opportunity to write No Place Like Home, I was bouncing off the walls with excitement."She expressed her joy, saying, "I genuinely couldn't have been happier that I had been entrusted to do something so monumental."Despite her enthusiasm, Charlene discloses that she had to pause her writing to participate in 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!', which led to her missing a deadline and battling confidence issues.

Nevertheless, she confesses that she managed to keep her uncertainties hidden from those around her.Charlene revealed: "When my head hit the pillow at the end of each day, my brain was a whirl of doubts that I could do it.

Every night, without fail, I would wake at about 1am, panicking that my lack of confidence had pushed me into a hole that I now couldn't get out of.
