msn.comtube strikes galore, it’s been a tumultuous week of transport for many of us. For Merlin Batchelor, though, it’s been nothing but smooth sailing.
The Norwich resident recently purchased a tank – a former British Army tank, in fact, which cost him £20,000. Still, it’s all been worth it.
Batchelor plans to convert his tank into a £600-an-hour taxi service, and in the meantime has been cruising around Norwich with his four daughters, taking them to the park and for weekly shopping trips to ASDA. “I just wanted a tank,” he explained. “It’s a hit with my three youngest daughters.
They want to go to school in it. ” (His eldest, unfortunately, is not such a fan. )But despite potentially embarrassing school drop-offs, the tank offers many.
