mirror.co.ukMore than 50million people in England have been banned from seeing family and friends indoors under a grim new lockdown system.
The vast majority of the country will be in either Tier 2 or Tier 3 after ministers unveiled the full list of tiers for every part of England.
Both of the stricter tiers - which begin when national lockdown ends on December 1 - ban all indoor social gatherings, including in homes or pubs.
All hospitality venues must shut in Tier 3, while pubs in Tier 2 must shut unless they can operate as a restaurant. Today’s announcement confirmed more than 20million people will be in Tier 3 while more than 30million will be in Tier 2.
