Born into a family of 12 children to parents Robert and Avie Lee Parton in Sevier County, Tennessee, David was one of the iconic Parton siblings. On X – which used to be known as Twitter– Stella shared an emotional tribute: "My brother David passed away peacefully this morning. It's never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, but he got his angel wings and is now at peace." Fans were quick to offer their condolences, with heartfelt messages flooding in.
