Pulp have announced their first UK show of 2025 with a huge homecoming headline slot at Tramlines Festival.The festival will return to Hillsborough Park, Sheffield, from July 25-27. Pulp will headline the Friday night of Tramlines in what will be only the fourth show they have played in their hometown since 2000.They have also curated the line-up for the main stage that day, choosing Spiritualized, Baxter Dury and Oracle Sisters to join them.

Arctic Monkeys have announced a run of arena shows in Ireland for 2023 – you can find all the details below.The Sheffield band are due to play three headline gigs at the 3Arena in Dublin on October 15, 17 and 19. James Ford has revealed that the initial plans for Arctic Monkeys‘ ‘The Car’ would have seen the record be more “outward-facing”.Speaking to NME for our Does Rock ‘N’ Roll Kill Braincells?! franchise, Ford shared that the album was supposed to be “bigger and more outward-facing,” but had its direction changed when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.“The pandemic happened, and [Alex Turner] went into his own bubble, returning with these beautiful, intimate, sad songs. We recorded in this country house in Suffolk.

Arctic Monkeys have added a second Manchester date to their 2023 UK and Ireland stadium tour following a huge early demand for tickets.The returning Sheffield four-piece will tour in the UK and Ireland in May and June next year, with tickets set to go on general sale here tomorrow morning (September 30).A pre-sale for the whole tour took place earlier this morning (September 29), with the pre-sale for the band’s initial Manchester date at Emirates Old Trafford on June 2, 2023 selling out.Arctic Monkeys will now play a second date at Emirates Old Trafford on June 3, 2023.
