Netflix has announced a number of returning cast members for upcoming sequel Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley.Eddie Murphy will reprise his role as police detective Axel Foley in the fourth installment of the franchise, which is currently in production at Netflix after they acquired the rights in 2019.As announced by the streaming service on Wednesday (September 21), Murphy will be joined by his original co-stars Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot in the sequel.In the original 1984 film, Reinhold and Ashton portrayed Detective Billy Rosewood and Sergeant John Taggart respectively. New Found Glory‘s Chad Gilbert has confirmed that he is cancer-free once again.After initially declaring in January that he was “cancer-free”, Gilbert told his fans last month that he was set to undergo further surgery following the discovery of a new tumour.“Got out of surgery yesterday afternoon! Things went really well,” he shared after the surgery.“They were able to remove almost all of it besides a microscopic amount of tumour that was in the bone. Ozzy Osbourne recorded additional tracks with Taylor Hawkins that didn’t make the former’s new album ‘Patient Number 9’.The late Foo Fighters drummer is credited on three songs on Osbourne’s 13th solo record: ‘Parasite’, ‘Mr Darkness’, and ‘God Only Knows’. According to producer Andrew Watt, Hawkins contributed to more cuts that were held back for a future release.“There’s a bunch of other stuff with Ozzy and Taylor, as well, that’s going to be used for another thing,” Watt told Rolling Stone.‘Patient Number 9’ also features the likes of Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Osbourne’s Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi.Taylor Hawkins died in Bogotá, Colombia on March 25.

As rejuvenated as they’ve been in the studio, the sparks flying in this classic lineup is the best special effect in their live shows. The stripped down production of the band’s Sept. 13 SiriusXM Small Stage Series show at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem made it clear to the 1,500 frenzied fans that, even as the band members enter their sixties, they’ve never seemed closer or played tighter.
