Twelve years after a murder in South Florida, detectives said they’ve identified a gay pornography model as the chief suspect in the killing.In August 2010, Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputies found a man, 31-year-old Alfred “Chad” McMurray, dead from a gunshot wound at his residence in Oakland Park, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. They failed to locate a clear suspect at the time.On Friday, however, the office published an announcement saying that in May, “new information led homicide investigators to identify a possible suspect.”That person is Aaron Michael Dobbins, a 52-year-old Tampa resident who previously acted in gay pornography under the name “Trace Michaels.” According to the BSO statement, investigators obtained a search warrant for Dobbins’ DNA and matched it with forensic evidence found under McMurray’s fingernails at the crime scene 12 years ago.“Investigators said based on the information gathered and evidence collected in this case, they believe Dobbins is responsible for the murder,” the sheriff’s office said in its statement.Detectives claimed in an arrest report that McMurray’s truck, along with some personal items, had been stolen from the murder scene.

J. Kim Murphy “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler has opened up about his grieving for the film’s star Chadwick Boseman, who died in Aug. 2020 after a private battle with colon cancer. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the filmmaker shared that Boseman’s death led him to reconsider continuing his work in the entertainment industry. “I was at a point when I was like, ‘I’m walking away from this business,'” Coogler stated. “I didn’t know if I could make another movie period [or] another ‘Black Panther’ movie, because it hurt a lot. I was like, ‘Man, how could I open myself up to feeling like this again?'” Coogler went on to explain that he spent the following weeks revisiting footage of himself with Boseman, who he saw as a major creative collaborator and champion of “Black Panther.” Returning to memories of his own relationship with the actor, the filmmaker began to rediscover his passion for the kingdom of Wakanda and its narrative possibilities.

Phil conductor Gustavo Dudamel said, “We have the chance tonight to celebrate one of the greatest composers of all time. His name is John Williams. The next installment in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise is continuing to add star power to its all-star cast as Kevin Bacon is set to join Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley. Production on the sequel is underway with Mark Molloy directing. Murphy is back as Axel Foley and will produce along with Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Will Beall penned the script. Jospeh Gordon-Levitt, Taylour Paige are also on board with Judge Reinhold and John Ashton Paul Reiser; and Bronson Pinchot reprising their characters from previous installments.

Photos of the late drummer — who died suddenly in March at the age of 50 while Foo Fighters were on tour — adorned the walls of the arena, and his signature hawk logo was omnipresent as thousands of admirers came to pay their respects, many of them already sporting the limited edition merch made for the event. “It’s a revolving door of rock heroes tonight,” Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl said during one of the many times he addressed the crowd during the six-hour concert, and he couldn’t have been more accurate. The impressive lineup was practically a lesson in rock ‘n’ roll history, including the likes of Joan Jett, Travis Barker, Josh Homme, Wolfgang Van Halen, Alanis Morrissette, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Stewart Copeland and Chad Smith as well as members of Queen, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Soundgarden, Rush, Metallica and Black Sabbath. But perhaps the most special guest was Shane Hawkins, the 16-year-old son of Taylor, who joined Foo Fighters on drums at the end of the show for an emotional performance of “My Hero” and “I’ll Stick Around.”

Pink joined forces with Foo Fighters and Queen at the second Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in Los Angeles last night (September 27).The singer performed a number of tracks with different artists throughout the night at the Kia Forum including Heart‘s Nancy Wilson for their track ‘Barracuda’ before she joined Queen and the Foo Fighters for a rousing cover of ‘Somebody To Love’ – the song that Hawkins covered himself over the years.Later she teamed up with the Foo Fighters to sing ‘The Pretender’ during their main set at the finale.

Following Chadwick Boseman’s shocking death in 2020, Marvel Studios was tasked with the decision of whether to recast his King T’Challa role in Ryan Coogler’s upcoming Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever, a role Boseman also had previously played in Captain America: Civil War and the Avengers films. In an interview with Empire Magazine, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige talks about the decision to not recast the role, and instead find a way to honor Boseman along with a different approach in the sequel.

Ahead of the release of sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” shot after Boseman’s death, fans launched a campaign for Marvel to honor the actor and character by recasting T’Challa, a movement that sparked a petition with over 60,000 signatures. Although the actor does not appear in the upcoming movie, “Wakanda Forever” will pay tribute to Boseman.
