A designer seating company based in the Czech Republic has donated a dozen dinky mushroom chairs to a Dundee museum so kids and families can lounge in style when they take part in activities.

LD Seating has given 12 of the funky Funghi stools to the V&A Dundee that will put down roots in the museum's Thomson Learning Centre.

The UK arm of the company is based in Dundee - rather than the obvious choice of Portobello - and is run by local entrepreneur and general funghi Andy Stewart, who made the donation to the eye-catching attraction this week.

Designed by Filip Streit, a design lecturer at the Czech Technical University in Prague, the Funghi chairs are a champignon find for any forager in need of a rest.
