LL Cool J Returning To ‘NCIS’ In Season 22

deadline.comNCIS: Los Angeles alum LL Cool J is returning to the NCIS universe with a guest spot on the mothership series this season. CBS and LL Cool J revealed today that the actor will reprise his Sam Hanna role in the upcoming April 21 episode.
Cast member Brian Deitzen previously teased that “someone from NCIS past” will return and that someone apparently is LL Cool J. “Back on set, baby!
NCIS. Let’s get it,” LL Cool J announced in an Instagram video. A post shared by The NCISverse (@ncisverse) LL Cool J portrayed Sam Hanna in all 14 seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, which concluded in May 2023.
He reprised the character on the third season of NCIS: Hawai’i through the end of the season, which turned out to be the spinoff’s series finale.
