Lizzo has confirmed that she has changed a line in her latest single "Grrrls" after fans pointed out it contained ableist language.

The original version of the song, which dropped on June 10, included the lyric: "Hold my bag, bitch, hold my bag / Do you see this shit?

In a statement posted on social media, Lizzo said: "It’s been brought to my attention that there is a harmful word in my new song ‘Grrrls.’ Let me make one thing clear: I never want to promote derogatory language.
