Lizzo has posted a nude selfie in a bid to take a stand against unrealistic beauty standards. The "Good as Hell" singer posted the candid picture - which was free from edits and filters - on Instagram to send her 10.2 million followers a very important message.

She captioned the raw post: "Let’s get real y’all. "WELCOME TO TAURUS SEASON," making reference to her zodiac sign, adding: "To celebrate I wanna give y'all this unedited selfie. "Now normally I would fix my belly and smooth my skin but baby I wanted [to] show u how I do it au natural." Lizzo explained how she is partnering with beauty brand Dove as part of its self-esteem project - "which is helping to reverse the negative effects of social media and changing the conversation
